Using the "Article Manager" application you can change the look and feel of your web site from your current internet connection.
Check out how easy it can be.
- 1. Enter your business or personal information into the registration page and click "Register Now". Your web site is instantly created. Follow the link on the "Successfull Registration" page to view your new site.
- 2. Click on the "Administration Login" link. Enter your User ID and Password. This will take you to your administration page.
- 3. Once at the administration page, click on the "Web Site Display Settings" link to change the look and feel of your site. You do this by entering a company message, your "about (your company name)" page, your company name color, background font color, hyperlink color, category display (buttons or a drop-down box), and decide weather or not to display PayPal buttons for your uploaded items. Click the "Enter Settings" button. Your changes are saved. Click on the "Select an Image for Your Main Page Background" and "Select and Image For Your Main Page Foreground" links to upload background and foreground. The background you select will be used for all pages that are created. You can change any of these settings at any time.
- 4. Type a category name in the "Add a Category" textbox and click "Add Category". The category is created. (If you want or need to delete a category, select it from the "Delete a Category" drop-down box and click the "Delete Category" button.)
- 5. Now you're ready to create an article. Click on the "Add New Listing" button. You will be taken to a new article entry form. Enter the required fields and click the "Publish" button. Click your browser's back button twice and refresh the page. Select the new article from "Edit Lisitng" drop-down box and click the "Edit Listing" button.
- 6. From this page you can upload a main picture that will be used as a link to the article when your visitors click on the category on your main page. You can also add additional pictures. These pictures will automatically be displayed when your visitors click on the "View Pictures" or "Slide Show" links.
- 7.Click on the "View/Delete Your Uploaded Images" to delete images you have uploaded.
- 8. To delete an article, simply select the article from the "Delete Listing" drop-down box and click on the "Delete Listing" button. This deletes the article and all of the article's associated pictures.
- 9. The application also includes Microsoft's Netmeeting. This allows visitors to your site to converse with you in real time over your existing internet connection.
